TIP campaign at St. Matthew's in Pennington to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Episcopal Relief & Development
All of us routinely give tips for good service, be it for wait staff, paper carrier, babysitter, etc. Have you ever added up the amount you spend in this way each month?
Please consider “tipping” ERD servants for exceptional service, not just in over 40 distant countries, but also right here in New Jersey for Hurricane Sandy relief. You and I can’t go to help in all these places, but our support of ERD makes it seem like we’re There In Person (TIP).
Please consider saving up 75 TIP quarters
To be collected during April and May

St. Francis' Dunellen Raises $1,290 for young children!!!
For our Advent collection, St. Francis' Dunellen chose Episcopal Relief & Development to honor their 75th Anniversary and specifically, the Thrive to Five fund. Our goal was $700. Our Sunday School created posters and Pennies from the Heart cans to collect donations. Through their efforts, along with our outreach budget and our parishioners' generous donations collected through the Hope Chest mite boxes, we ultimately sent a check to Episcopal Relief and Development for $1,290!

St. John’s Little Silver’s Kicks-off
the Diocesan 75th Anniversary Campaign
with $4,742 raised through
MISSION POSSIBLE!!!
Each year members of the congregation make presentations at coffee hour about the organizations they would like MISSION POSSIBLE to support. Included as part of the presentations are informational materials and websites so that fellow parishioners have a chance to become educated before they vote on how they would like the funds to be directed. Everyone is able to vote for one global, one local and one Diocesan organization to support. Once the different organizations are identified, congregants are asked to pledge a specific amount to support the designated MISSION POSSIBLE organizations. This year, Episcopal Relief & Development was chosen as the global organization!
This is a wonderful example of how a congregation can learn about ways to make a difference in the world from one and other while building community and sharing their resources. GREAT JOB LITTLE SILVER! Thanks for giving our campaign such a great kick-off!
